This Fall, get ready to march with the Saints. That is, Saints Ignatius Loyola, Thomas More, Francis of Assisi, Philip Neri, Charles Borromeo and Terese of Avila. These reformers spearheaded the rebirth of the church after the tumultuous times following the Protestant Reformation. Using the book “True Reformers” written by Jerome K. Williams and DVD we will follow each of these saints on their journey to gain inspiration from Gospel readings and Old Testament scripture to apply to our daily lives

Purpose: We collaborate with our cluster parish, Saint Clare, to provide adult faith formation opportunities. In the fall, we have either a guest speaker or a class that deepens our knowledge and love of God. During the fall session, we focus on Church Documents or Scripture Study. In the fall and during Lent, we publicize and encourage participation in our Small Faith Sharing Groups. The Small Group Program started in the fall of 2015. At present, we have six groups. They meet during the morning, afternoon, and evening. During the fall session, we focus on Church documents or Scripture study. During the six weeks of Lent, the focus is on studying and putting into practice the Mass Readings to prepare ourselves for the celebration of the Resurrection. We plan, organize and sponsor the yearly parish mission held during Lent. We also prepare the Epiphany Packets, which contain a prayer, chalk, and Holy Water to bless our homes for the New Year. We usually make 1500 packets. The Spiritual Formation Commission meets four times a year, and meeting dates are posted on both Saint Paschal's and Saint Clare's yearly calendars.
