Purpose: The Cub Scouts are a family-oriented program for boys in grades 1 through 5. It involves projects and advancements that teach boys responsibility and skills. The program is set up to allow boys to work on various ranks in Cub Scouting with their parents, which stress values to community and self.

Commitment: On average, Scouts are involved in two meetings a month of an hour and a half each. There are projects and advancements that the Scout works on at home and at meetings.
